How to Manage Multiple Facebook Accounts on Iphone
Managing Multiple Social Networking accounts is not as easy as it looks. Logging In and Out, Switching between the two accounts is quite a pain especially when it comes to mobile devices. In a PC / Mac we can somehow manage them by using multiple web browsers or using private window for second account. Can we use two accounts on Android phone? What about the option to use multiple account on iPhone?
How can we set up & manage two Facebook accounts on one iPhone / Android device and use it in simultaneously?
The official app Facebook for Android and IOS has the option to use multiple accounts. But you can't use both the accounts at the same time. If you want to use the other account then you need to logout of the current account. Means at a time you can only stay logged in on one account.
How to use two Facebook Accounts on one iPhone :
For IOS users, instead of installing some third party apps, you can use the Facebook Lite app which is available on App Store. But you need to use this app along with the official Facebook app. Now you have two Facebook official apps installed on your iPhone, Facebook & Facebook Lite. Don't worry the lite app is not going to consume any storage and RAM. It's not as sneaky as the official app. Login your primary account on Facebook app and your secondary account on lite version.
This way you can use both the accounts simultaneously at the same time without having to login and logout.
How to manage two Facebook accounts on one Android device?
Since you're reading this article, I assume that you probably have an Android device either the smartphone or a Tab, and 2 or more Facebook accounts. To manage two Facebook accounts ( or I can say multiple FB accounts), The easiest and simplest way is to Install Official "Facebook App" (Facebook for Android) and "Facebook Lite" from the play store on your android device. Whether you tried it or not, Installing both these apps on your Android device allows to Login to different Facebook accounts. If you're a person who is concerned about data consumption by your apps, then I suggest you to login to your primary account on Facebook lite. Because as I've already mentioned, it consumes very fewer data and also has all the major features like groups, pages, messenger available in it. Primary account in the sense, the account which you use most to stay connected with your friends, follow others feed and stuff. So this account needs to download more content, I suggest you use Facebook lite for this app which is going to save a lot of data.

Manage Two Accounts Using Facebook for Android / Facebook for iPhone – 2017
Now with the recent update in the Facebook Official App itself, You can Login with multiple accounts. But each time when you try to switch between accounts it will ask you for a 4 digit pin/ Profile Picture Login (A new feature update) which you will set prior when adding the account.
So, How to Use 2 Facebook Accounts in "Facebook for Android" / "Facebook for iPhone" ?
First things first, Login with one account normally. While logging in the app will prompt you to enter a 4 digit pin. Give a 4 digit pin there. It's like a pass code. If it didn't don't worry. I'll guide you.
- Once you successfully logged in, Now from the settings > tap on LOGOUT.
- This will take you to the login screen and here again, you'll find a link to add a 4 digit pin.
- Now add a pin to that account.
- The reason why we are adding this pin is so that we can easily swap between accounts by just entering the pin instead of entering your complete password every time.
- Now if you're logged in, logout and you will see an option to log in with another account.
- Use that Option to log in with the other account and add a 4 digit pin to that account too.
Conclusion :
Now you can use Two or more Facebook Accounts on the official app. But if you hate switching between the profiles by logging out and logging IN every time, then it's better to use Facebook Lite app for your secondary profile. However if you have more than 2 accounts to use simultaneously (yes such people exist), You can use rely on the 3rd party apps which provides support for multiple profiles and simultaneous use.
